Das Symposium findet auf Einladung der Stiegl-Brauerei von 8. bis 10. Oktober 2023 in Salzburg statt. Die EBC lädt alle interessierten Vertreter aus Industrie und Forschung ein, Vorschläge für Vorträge zu folgenden Aspekten einzureichen:
o Yeast and bacterial fermentations in the brewery – technological concepts reviewed
o Yeast propagation – process control and analysis
o Best practices in fermentation control leading to high-quality products
o The role of fermentations in the production of no- and low-alcohol beer
o Bioremediation and upcycling of brewery fermentation co-products
Einreichungen sind ab Februar 2023 möglich, weitere Informationen werden zeitnah unter https://ebc-symposium.org/ bereitgestellt.
Inzwischen wurden auch Ort und Termin für den nächsten EBC-Kongress 2024 bekannt gegeben. Wie zuletzt in Madrid soll die erfolgreiche Verknüpfung mit dem „Brewers Forum“ weitergeführt werden. Beide Veranstaltungen werden parallel von 26. bis 30. Mai 2024 im französischen Lille (Grand Palais Convention Centre) stattfinden.
